The goals of the Parish School of Religion are
 | TO instruct students in the fundamental values and doctrine of our
Faith. |
 | TO enable each individual to nourish his/her own personal relationship
with God through prayer, study, scripture and frequent participation in the
Sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation. |
 | TO bring students to recognize the Eucharistic liturgy as the
source, expression and celebration of who we are as Catholic Christians. |
 | TO encourage students to grow through prayer, study and participation
in the liturgical and active life of the Church, a response to their Baptismal
call to make the Kingdom of God present here and now in the world. |
Classes are held on Sundays from 9:00 to 10:15am and are available for
Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
Registration is held each year in May and August. In addition, students can
register in September when PSR begins. Information regarding dates and fees are
published in the handbook and calendar. Students are expected to
register each year.
The Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation are
initiated in conjunction with Holy Childhood School.
The Holy Childhood PSR program has dedicated catechists who assist students
to deepen their faith through the Word of God and follow the goals of the PSR
program.
