- Liturgy Committee
- The Liturgy Committee plans special parish liturgies throughout the year.
Individuals wishing to help with this ministry should have a willingness to learn the rites of the Roman Catholic
Church.
- Eucharistic Ministers
- Adults needed to assist the celebrant in the distribution of the Precious
Body & Blood of Jesus to the congregation. A time commitment of 1 Mass per
month is requested. Training provided.
- Lectors
- Lectors proclaim the Word of God at Mass. Volunteers need to have the
ability to speak in public and a willingness to prepare and practice the
readings. A time commitment of 1 Mass per month is requested.
- Commentators
- Commentators can be high school age and older, to welcome the
congregation, read prayer petitions, and make announcements at weekend Masses. Volunteers need
the ability to speak clearly in public and willingness to arrive at Mass early to review
prepared script. A time commitment of 1 Mass per month is requested. Training
provided.
- Mass Servers
- Youth in grades 5-9 are invited to assist the celebrant with the liturgy
as altar servers. A time commitment of approximately 1-2 hours per month is
requested. Training provided.
- Ministers of Hospitality (Greeters)
- Friendly men, women and families needed to welcome parishioners before
Mass. Time commitment of approximately 15 minutes before Mass once every two
months is requested, depending on the number of greeters.
- Ushers
- Ushers assist with seating parishioners, collecting monetary offerings,
assist with the Communion procession, distribute bulletins and tidy up church
for the next Mass. A time commitment of 1 hour every two to six months is
requested.
- Breaking Open the Word
- Adults to help children 3 years through completion of 3rd grade break open
the Word of God through music and scripture reading during Sunday's 10:30am
Mass. Training and guide books are provided. A time commitment of 25 minutes
one Sunday every two months for one year is requested.
- Music Ministry
- Opportunities are available to both adults and children to provide music
for our celebrations.
