HOLY CHILDHOOD OF JESUS PARISH FAMILY MISSION

DECEMBER 3-11, 2011

BEING CATHOLIC:  IT'S A GRACE AND A PRIVILEGE!

Father Oscar Lukefahr, Vincentian Priest will be the presenter.  Father Lukefahr emphasizes the sacramental life of the Catholic Church.  The mission is meant for adults, teens, and children.  It encourages us to know Jesus better, appreciate our Faith more, and share it with others.  All services and talks will be in the Church.

    Saturday December 3, 2011, Mass at 5:30pm  (Topic "Where is God")  followed at 6:45pm with a potluck dinner in the cafeteria of the school.

    Sunday December 4, 2011, Masses will be said by Father Lukefahr.  Question and Answer time at 6:45pm followed by the Mission talk at 7:00pm.  The Topic:  "Being Catholic is knowing God."

    Monday December 5, 2011, Mass at 8:00am.  Question and Answer time at 6:45pm followed by Mission talk at 7:00pm.  Topic:  The Bible and Catechism: "Listening to Jesus."

    Tuesday December 6, 2011, Mass at 8:00am.  Question and Answer time at 6:45pm followed by Mission talk at 7:00pm.  Topic:  The Sacrament of Penance: "Jesus Forgives."   A Parish Penance Service followed the Mission talk.

    Wednesday December 7, 2011, Mass at 8:00am.  Question and Answer time at 6:45pm followed by Mission talk at 7:00pm.  Topic:  Four Levels of Happiness:  "Following Jesus."  Social time in the Parish Center at 8:00 pm.

    Thursday December 8, 2011,  Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Mass at 6:30am and 8:00am.  Mission and Mass at 7:00pm.  Topic:  "The Real Presence of Jesus."

    Friday December 9, 2011, Mass at 8:00am

    Saturday December 10, 2011, Mass at 5:30pm

    Sunday December 11, 2011, Masses at 8:00am and 10:30am.

Teachers and Catechists earned a total of 5 credit hours for General Electives and Renewal hours for attending Mission sessions.
