Faith Family Catechesis (formerly called PSR) is religious and spiritual instruction for students attending public schools.  It encompasses grades K-8, in an elementary and junior high program. Overview

The goals of the Faith Family Catechesis are:

  • TO instruct families in the fundamental values and doctrine of our Faith.

  • TO bring families to recognize the Eucharistic liturgy as the source, expression and celebration of who we are as Catholic Christians.

  • TO encourage families to grow together through prayer, study and participation in the liturgical and active life of the Church, a response to their Baptismal call to make the Kingdom of God present here and now in the world.

Instruction for families is implemented at home by the parents, following a scheduled guide. Parents use both a textbook and online resources to present and work through each lesson. E-assessments are sent to the CRE at the end of the unit for evaluation and tracking. A kindergarten curriculum is available for at home use.

Registration for the new school year will be held the 2nd weekend of August after all Masses. Registration forms can also be found below and at the Rectory. Forms can be turned in anytime at the Rectory.

The Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation are celebrated in conjunction with Holy Childhood School. Continuing formation after Confirmation is offered in our High School program.
