Holy Childhood Church Finance Council Meeting Summary

Date: February 10, 2026 (7pm in Rectory Hospitality Rm)

Members Present: Father Mark Stec, Matt Athy, Mike Brennan, Margaret Windstar, Kent Hoerchler, Paula Proffitt

Members Absent: Margie Berry

A. Opening Prayer – Fr. Mark led opening prayer

B. Approval of Minutes

C. Review of Finances – some concern with listing of two identical Utilities (Electric Church) dated 1/02/26 and 1/12/26. No other concerns.

D. Review of Proposal - Wilke Window and Door Inc. Proposal.

E. Old Business –

a. Wilke took final measurements last week of windows and will begin project June 22nd and project should be completed no later than July 31st. Council agrees with moving forward with this proposal. Mike to get a check for 50% of bill from school that has to be paid up front and the other 50% when windows are installed and job is completed. CENPRO Services, Inc asbestos team will be working on June 15th. The asbestos only on the east side proposal has now increased $3900. The original cost was $22,300. Council agrees to move forward with increase.

b. Matt Stukenburg will be working with Steve Moll to get rock in cemetery as it is to wet to proceed.

F. New Business

a. Window donations presently stand at $295,100.

b. Mowing contract for HC Campus has had no takers

c. Discussed concerns of possibility of a door at PC kitchen area for privacy.

d. Discussed concerns of front entrance of quilting space that we are aware that sidewalks need to have snow removal

e. Council approved to purchase new printer (Kyocera TASKalfa MZ5001ciOMNIA) and agreed to monthly cost for upkeep for HCC office.

G. Closing Prayer – Fr. Mark led closing prayer.
