· Cemetery fees -

· Reviewed Cemetery Committee meeting summary from Sept. 2026. Cemetery Committee proposed increasing burial lot fees to $600 for parishioners, $1200 for non-parishioners, and Second Rite of Burial to $200, to match City of Mascoutah Cemetery fees. The division of money when a grave space is sold was discussed. Currently there is not a separate account for perpetual care.

· Discussed financial accounts and maintenance of cemeteries:

· St. Pancratius Cemetery is maintained using money from donated land and has a separate checking account.

· St. Liborius manages it’s cemetery next to the church. The area is mowed weekly for approx. cost of $365 per mow.

· Holy Childhood Cemetery, including the Old Cemetery on 177, is managed by the HCC committee. Cost of maintenance services will increase to $500 per mowing (includes weed eating).

· School Gym Rental

· Discussed use of gym for outside activities such as volleyball lessons and 1:1 coaching. Organizations (i.e., scouting) that use the gym have their own insurance riders. The Belleville Diocese is clear on insurance policy. Proof of insurance must be provided or can be purchased as a one-time rider from the Diocese. In addition, use must be scheduled with the HC school office and an adult, of at least 25 yrs of age, must be present to

supervise. This adult would also need to complete the Child Protection requirements before allowed to supervise. The Committee agreed that there should be no outside rentals of the gym. Activities in the gym must be a school event and follow Diocesan policies for supervision.

· Due to scheduling conflicts, the Finance Committee meeting in October will be moved to 10/20/26 and the November meeting will be moved to 11/03/26.

· Closing Prayer – Fr. Mark led the closing prayer. Meeting adjourned at 8:30pm.
